A Cozy Magical Reset for September

What does September make you think of?

For me, it is the blessing of cooler days, apple picking season, and due to being from the U.K., going back to school.

And while I am I’m not going back to any type of formal education, what better time to start a new experiment?

To add a bit of intentional coziness and magic to my life, starting this month, I’m setting home and health goals to focus on.

This September, my focus is simple:

  • Home: Deep clean and reset the pantry, making space for soups, teas, and autumn staples.
  • Health: Recommit to hydration. I’m pretty bad at remembering to drink water as it is, but cooler weather makes it easier to forget those extra glasses of water.

And to keep the momentum, here’s a Cozy Checklist of small, intentional tasks I plan to get done by the end of the month:

  • Bake something with apples.
  • Refresh candles for shorter evenings.
  • Rotate bedding with an extra blanket or flannel sheets.
  • Stock up on cozy teas.
  • Tidy the entryway for backpacks and boots.
  • Make a pot of soup for the freezer.
  • Donate or declutter 5 items before seasonal shopping.
  • Create a simple evening ritual (candle + tea + journal).
  • Add one new cozy touch to my living space.
  • Start a comfort read or re-watch a favorite show.
